I don’t, however, love the totalitarianism. So, yea my blog got yanked this weekend. I was assuming that it was the ignorant wet blanket dipshit that tried to buck up at me in the comments on this post this week. And why wouldn’t I assume that — WordPress yanked the blog down without so much as a peep to me.

I got a notice on my dash board that my blog had been yanked, but no email. No notification. Nothing. Simply put, they felt like I violated the TOS.

I went through and read the TOS.

Seriously. And the post in question was the NSFW Old Vag post. And the link in question? Here’s the context:

I’m all for people doing whatever it is that gets their socks off, within some basic moral parameters. But sweet Jesus – this is a DATING site! This isn’t Adult Friend Finder [this text was hyperlinked] dude! I could see someone posting something like this on Craiglist, even… But OkCupid? Really?

I cannot believe this shit.

So it’s either, A) that the jerk in the comments section flagged my post because her panties were in a twist and then wordpress actually had to figure out SOME reason to say I violated the TOS or, B) WordPress has issues with a website dedicated to helping people find other people to fuck.

Adult Friend Finder isn’t porn – though there is certainly going to be some questionable ads on the site – it’s, at it’s truest form, a DATING SITE. How does linking to a dating site violate the TOS? Is it because the people on the site are seeking to fuck each other only?

What the fuck ever, WordPress. I think, at the core, power trips are really fucking stupid. Whether it was the douche in the comments on the BlackRaccoon thread or the “big shots” at WordPress running things.

So, I’m moving my shit to a dedicated server OFF WordPress. Fuck the bullshit. Fuck the TOS. Fuck the regulation and restriction of free discussion.

It’s going to take me a couple of days to get everything sorted out on the new blog, but update your bookmarks, if you haven’t already to simply go to www.datewrecks.com. No? Here’s the brief run down: We were supposed to have a date and the dude never called to confirm. By 3pm on the day of our date, I still hadn’t heard from him. So, I just made other plans. After a weird text exchange, I didn’t hear from him again.

Seriously. Ok, I know I was a little (read: a lot probably) bitchy, but OMG!

Dude. Why do men do this? Why do they always try to keep one foot in the door? Do they think they can just sort of patch things up and keep you in the wings as a “maybe”? This is SO not the first guy to do something like this…

I remember when I broke up with my last-last-boyfriend, we’ll call him the “Big Time Republican” (Seriously, that’s how he would introduce himself. Gag. With air quotes and everything!). We dated for about eight months and after we broke up, he would email me like CLOCK WORK every four weeks just to check on me… See how I was doing… He would go on and on about what was going on his life and make sure to include that he was either single or dating or whatever. He stopped writing when I started dating a black man, lol.

As an aside – can you believe I ever dated a Republican? OMG. Me neither?! It was a total rebound thing after my divorce. Some women go buck-wild, fucking every dude they see. I rebelled against myself by dating a (air quotes) Republican.

I’m a fairly gracious person (though, if you don’t know me personally, I understand that it might be hard to believe from just reading this blog, lol. I digress…) but when I’m ready to shut the door, I just shut it. With the exception of a few long term relationships, I don’t generally keep in touch with someone it hasn’t worked out with. I don’t call to catch up. I don’t want to see how they’re doing. I just don’t.

You’re either in my life or you’re not. I thought I was pretty clear with this guy that totally dropping the ball on DATE NIGHT meant that he was out. I thought he understood that as well, being that he didn’t call me or text me or anything for two weeks.

I am just dumbfounded by this kind of behavior! Are there any man readers out there who care to explain this to me??
